WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The role of Control Room Operator at Brisbane Airport is reporting directly to the Transport Shift Manager. The role will start of as a Casual Employee working 20 - 40 plus hours per week with a view to becoming permanent in the future. This role requires team members to work shifts: - Early’s lates & some nights
The primary purpose of the Control Room Operator is to provide a high-level of customer service for any car parking related enquiries / system issues. The Control Room Operator will optimise customers experience with the ability to assist with general enquiries via intercoms. The car parks assist customers with any required information to help in getting in and out of the Airport car parks via intercom calls and some face-to-face interaction.
Duties include taking phone calls regarding car park related queries, monitoring CCTV, notification, and incident reporting, use of multiple IT systems and general onsite customer service and information provision.
All applicants will need to be physically fit start anytime from 4am and finish as late as midnight. You must have good Mon-Sun availability and be prepared to attend work at short notice when required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum (1) years demonstrated experience in a customer service role.
2. Excellent oral and written English communication skills
3. Professional phone manner, able to work shifts.
4. High levels of computer literacy and data entry – specifically Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook.
5. Ability to learn new software programs effectively and efficiently
6. Ability to multitask and prioritise with strong problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills (approachable, positive, motivated attitude)
8. Initiative, common sense and fast decision-making skills
9. Ability to trouble shoot and work under pressure
10. Be willing and able to undertake further training such as First aid.
11. A Police Check will be required.
