JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Preparing pilot plant trial equipment for testing.
  • Adhering to safety and hygiene protocols within the pilot plant.
  • Monitoring and overseeing projects associated with the pilot plant.
  • Developing new equipment designs for emerging product initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with other R&D departments on the conceptualization of new equipment.
  • Ensuring thorough and accurate reporting of trials and new designs.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in the mechanical or mechatronic sectors.
  • Proficiency in basic knowledge of mechanical motion systems is required.
  • Familiarity with food production systems and hygienic design is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems is expected.
  • Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) knowledge.

Skills

  • Effective communication skills are a prerequisite.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, with preference given to experience in Solidworks.
  • Competence in electronic and PLC knowledge, with a preference for expertise in Siemens PLC.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications is required.
